The problem we solve
Most schools have one. A storeroom, a corridor cupboard, or a corner of the IT suite stacked with old Chromebooks, broken laptops, and tablets that haven't been switched on in two years. Getting rid of them isn't as simple as throwing them out —and the longer they sit there, the bigger the problem gets

Three key risks

-
Legal exposure — Under the WEEE Regulations, schools have a legal duty to dispose of electrical equipment through a licensed recycler. Putting devices in a skip or a general waste bin puts your school in breach.
-
Data risk — Every old device may still hold pupil records, staff files, and login credentials. A hard drive that hasn't been properly wiped is a GDPR liability waiting to happen.
-
Lost space — Equipment that's out of use shouldn't be tying up storage. That room could be doing something useful.

FAQ
Q: Is the collection really free for schools?
A: Yes, completely. There are no collection fees, no minimum quantities, and no charges for data destruction or certificates. Schools are stretched enough as it is — we've built a service that costs you nothing.

Q:What happens to pupil and staff data on the devices?
A: All devices processed at our facility, have their data destroyed using certified erasure methods that meet NSA130-2, DoD 5220.22-M, and HMG IS5 standards. You'll receive a numbered certificate for each device confirming this has been done. Data is not recoverable after our process —that's the whole point.

Q:What equipment do you accept?
A: We accept all types of school IT equipment: laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, desktop computers, servers, monitors, printers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, networking equipment, cables, and peripherals. If you're unsure whether something is included, just get in touch and we'll confirm —we'd rather say yes than have you left with something you can't shift.
