Old computers, monitors, printers and cables are WEEE — and your organisation has a legal duty of care for how they are disposed of. We collect free across Newcastle, recycle everything to WEEE standards and give you the paperwork to prove it.
Collected, recycled, documented.
We collect laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, desktops, servers, monitors, printers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, networking equipment, cables and peripherals — from a single device to a full office or school clear-out.
Any device that holds data is wiped to NSA/CSS 130-2, DoD 5220.22-M and HMG IS5 standards or physically shredded, and listed by serial number on your Certificate of Data Destruction. See data destruction in Newcastle for detail.

We are based at 7a Wesley Drive, Benton Square Industrial Estate, Newcastle-upon-Tyne NE12 9UP, and collect across the city centre and Quayside, Gosforth, Jesmond, Heaton, Byker, Walker, Benton, Kenton, Fenham, Elswick, Newburn and Newcastle Great Park, plus the business parks at Cobalt and Quorum — postcodes NE1 to NE7, NE12, NE13, NE15 and the surrounding area.
We also cover Gateshead, Northumberland, Sunderland, Durham and Middlesbrough.
GOV.UK guidance says businesses must complete a waste transfer note for each load of waste that leaves their premises, keep a copy for 2 years, and check that their waste carrier is registered. Our registration is public: Waste carrier registration CBDU444714 (Environment Agency public register, upper tier) and ICO registration ZB436456.
Some electrical waste is classed as hazardous, which needs a consignment note instead — our guide to WEEE disposal paperwork explains the difference.
WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment — anything with a plug, battery or cable that has reached the end of its life. For offices and schools that is mainly IT: computers, monitors, printers, networking kit and cables.
No. IT equipment collection is free, with no minimum quantity and no charge for data destruction or certificates.
Laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, desktops, servers, monitors, printers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, networking equipment, cables and peripherals. If you are unsure about something, ask — we would rather say yes than leave you with kit you cannot shift.
A Duty of Care waste transfer note covering the collection, plus a single Certificate of Data Destruction listing every data-carrying device by serial number.
